@masterd151 Then you’d have to jump off before it hit the top speed of 2 MPH.

the only issue I see is uneven place to ride, how will it go up a 1″ curb ? those lil bumps will sending you flying off like a skateboard I’d think, great start Toyota !

The use for this is for immobile people, such as the old or disabled, not the usual market

its not for america, its for japan. unlike america, japan is much more denser, so it takes little time to get around place. they dont really need to travel far. so devices like this are ok to use.

well, unlike america, the japanese are in good shape, i dont really see any of them fat. you see, the japanese, they dont need to work out more, so they can use these things.

I had a company cruise on the Segway X2. From what I’ve seen in the video, the X2 is faster and bigger than the Toyota Winglet making the Winglet boring and uncompetitive. Toyota, please just copy the Segway X2, offer it for 1000 USD and I’ll buy it.

useless stuff from japan. why would you need something like that, if you are paralised you cant stand up(or you could invest the money in spinal injuries research) and if you are tired you’ll take a bus or a car, or rest. but why stand up?????

Why do we need this if we have (folding) bicycles? Or just walk? I see a fat, obese future. Next step? Watch Wall-e and you can tell.

Yes, you take painkillers (especially while your bone is being reset by doctors). And if the bone breaks the skin you will take antibiotics.

Researchers are indeed close to developing exercise “pills”. New drugs such as Myostatin blockers and “SRT1720″ look very promising.
