Toyota Supra Turbo vs. Lamborghini Gallardo

Disclaimer: All runs performed in Yugoslavia. Synopsis: Impromptu racing between a modded 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo and a modded Toyota Supra in the dangerous streets of Yugoslavia. Got a 25-80 pull, 45-130 pull, and a 45-110 pull. However, in the last two runs, I let the Supra spool before taking off. Mods and other information are below: Gallardo – catless exhaust (LOC +Fabspeed combo) – 125 lb weight reduction – one passenger – 6 speed manual – approx. 450awhp Supra – Greddy T78 Turbo @ 16 PSI – Supporting Modifications – 750cc Injectors – No passenger – Auto transmission – approx. 460rwhp Please subscribe if you enjoy cars, exotics, racing, and film-making. Please note: Since this was an impromptu race, I did not bring my HD camera or GoPro HeroHD setups. Therefore, only my intro scence is 1080P HD and the rest is crappy 640×480 iPhone 3GS footage rendered to 1080P HD. its still awesome to see something that was originally 300bhp from the 90’s with RWD (the Supra) being tuned to match or better a Lamborghini Gallardo from this era, with nearly twice the standard power output of a stock Supra…and the lambo does cost a lot more money (nearly 70k pound sterling for a 6yr old, and 120k+ pound sterling for a current model) … but both are beauties

THe Gallardo is equipped with a NA engine + 4WD. Therefore, any Supra with the same power can barely win in accleration competition

@AurousX it means spooling up the turbine/compressor wheels on the turbo(s) on a turbocharged car like the supra. Also known as turbo lag. i assume the lambo is N/A (naturally aspirated) and wont lag when you “put the pedal to the metal”

@sniper50cal2 enough with that shit. If you really think u can bust of shifts faster than a built auto, ur dumb. The fastest supras out there run th400s or powerglides. Way more consistent at the track and stays in boost the whole time your foot is down. Dont have to let up for shifts, which keeps the turbo spooled constantly. Have had a auto supra and loved it. Now got a standard and love it. Supra is a supra. manuel or not.
