Sorry, you can’t give me an absolutely free Toyota product!! I would sell it or have the POS crushed before I keep it.

TOKYO – Toyota Motor Corp. will recall 270,000 Lexus and other vehicles worldwide to fix faulty engines, the company said Friday, in the latest quality lapse by the world’s No. 1 automaker.
Flaws in valve springs, a crucial engine component, could make the vehicle stall while it’s moving, Toyota spokesman Hideaki Homma said Friday in announcing the recall.

friend who works at Ford witnessed lexus runaway into an intersection and hit somebody. 3 more recent accidents that were covered by the media in lower mainland (BC) here recently. Go to carcoverupdotcom to see a taped set of conversations between a defective lexus is250 owner and a lexus tech….unbelievable..toyota’s known of these problems for years!

@wakachumba Hey moron. Toyota hired former NHTSA employees years ago, and sent them to negotiate safety protocols involving U.A. accidents in Toyota products. They essentially got the NHTSA to roll over in 07 after they were warned by State Farm insurance about problems with Toyota’s. Then in an inter company memo Toyota was caught bragging about saving over 100 million in the token 45k floor mat recall of 07. a recent Toyota VP memo showed him saying that they have to take proper action

@wakachumba YOUR A FUCKING IDIOT. Of course toyota knew tool. They hired former NHTSA employees to negotiate the NHTSA down in 07 when THEY BOTH KNEW THAT TOYOTAS WERE A PROBLEM AS WARNED BY STATE FARM INSURANCE! So the Toyota fucking lobby got the NHTSA to stand down in 07 and allow toyota to issue the first token 45k mat recall. SO MORE PEOPLE DIED! Toyota fucking knew and it was more of a conflict of interest hiring NHTSA employees to do their dirty work than the Feds owning GM!

    hypocrisy is like toyotobots:
    - not buying a domestic because of bail outs while toyota took 2 billion from japanese gov’t in 09
    - not buying a domestic because of those ’shitty’ unions, while all japanese and european car plants on their soil are UNION!
    - believing an american assembled camry purchase is more beneficial to the U.S. economy than a mexican assembled Fusion when the domestic content is higher in ALL domestic brands, more net U.S. employment and profits stay in the U.S.A

    what’s not ok:
is to knowingly allow your customers to drive defective vehicles for years! – is to do everything in secrecy!…not announcing recalls/ announcing recalls via letters to original buyers only and not notifying the media – is to have secret proprietary software on EDR boxes and one PC in the entire U .S. to read it, and refusing to release crash data to authorities or lie about data diversity – conveniently conflicting data availabile/not available from one accident to another!

  22. guinmaan says:

    August 18th, 2010 at 10:13 pm

    Focus?!!
What’s not ok is to secretly fix peoples cars for decades (or not), pay off our media, spending countless millions to propagandize their below avg. vehicles, and demonize domestic ones, then point at high quality/reliability stats based on fraudulent Toyota repair data, and payola media reviews which unduly influences the public’s perception, thus envoking positive surveys that are completely unscientific as they are opinion based with no verified owner service records!

All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him, as the wheel follows the foot of the ox that draws the carriage.
