Being a Chevy enthusiast it does not matter how weird it may sound but I’d rather support Toyota than Obama socialism plan to nationalize US auto industry and get rid of foreign competitors at US auto market. If this policy continues with orchestrated media support of cases like “Runaway Prius” and others quite soon US companies will be crippled so much they won’t be able to compete with even Russian auto makers, not to mention Japanese. So this policy is hitting America back, People wake up!

i heard toyota equipped their paper shredders with the “sticky pedals” so they could run wide open on their own. a recent memo shows they saved millions over paying a person to do it.

ford didnt get a pass for exploders, gm didnt get a pass for gas tanks, why should toyota get a pass for UA?

well you can sure see she follows toyota’s corporate philosophy – blame someone else! The evil media and us gov’t! It’s surely not her fault that the greedy, bean counter toyota execs put profit before safety. I didn’t see tears shed for Ford when they were beat on over lesser transgressions than Toyota’s. Toyota’s been pulling shit like this 4 years and flying under the radar. TOYOTA IS GETTING EXACTLY WHAT THEY DESERVE AND IT’S MORE THAN FAIR !

…..not too mention that there has been virtually no deaths in unintended acceleration incidents of all other auto brands combined! Toyota was the most recalled vehicle brand since 06 BEFORE THE RECENT 7 PLUS MILLION RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE! ALL HAIL THE NEW RECALL KING TOYOTA! This doesn’t explain the drop in quality ranking by Consumer Reports who’s been on toyota’s payroll for 20 yrs….that says something. State farm insurance thinks toyotas are so good that your premiums are higher

…load of crap. Nothing scientific about that – no verifiable service records or science happening here. I would submit that pre-concieved notions of Japanese cars being superior along with the toyota tech telling customers ‘they all do that’ makes the stats your touting. EVEN IF THIS DATA WAS SCIENTIFICALLY FACTUAL, WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS HAVE TO DO SPECIFICALLY WITH UNINTENDED ACCELERATION COMPLAINTS? Toyota has 34 deaths & counting with 10 times the indust. avg. of UA complaints…

Relatively few complain about Toyota- CNN

Despite a torrent of high-profile recalls that have tarnished Toyota’s once stellar reputation, the automaker actually gets fewer customer complaints per car than the majority of its competitors

Toyota ranked 17th among the top 20 automakers in the overall number of complaints per vehicle sold. Toyota had fewer complaints than its American rivals. Ford was number 10 on the list, while General Motors came in at number 11.

    Big three still rules

Love the comments to the other guy lol, i hate ricers and people who stick up for toyota. DOWN WITH TOYOTA!! This is great, FORD/GM sales went up 16% i think. Chrystler went down 8% but still good for GM and ford.

    Buy american people, get real!

….that’s dozens. Not only did Toyota fuck up their cars, but they repeatedly and knowingly let their customers drive defective cars for years on end without attempting to correct the defects. So more people died. How does citing domestic recalls wash Toyota’s hands of wrong doing to morons like you? No I’m not UAW assplug!

Your a fucking idiot to be sure! What do domestic recalls have to do with Toyota’s despicable business practices over the last 3 decades with them finally fucking up so bad even their lawyers and lobbyists couldn’t cover it up and smooth things over? Who said Toyota killed thousands moron? They’ve killed dozen just like Ford only they don’t have the excuse of a defective outsourced tire like Ford did Toyota’s own inherent safety design defect with nobody else to blame but themselves…

old toyota cars are good but not recent years new models. they had recall for sport rim a few years ago but they did not learn any lesson. and about defective sport rim, how can it pass crash test? i suspect they had known about it but still release the cars. and now it is accelerator and brake abs on prius. never ending story for a overated company.

Your a fucking moron…plain an simple. Your driving a fucking death trap and that’s before this current recall. If your driving an 8 yr. old camry/ corolla then i suggest you better do your homework. very poor rating in rear end crash tests. Not too mention other defects. Face it, you drink the Kool aid based on one bad Ford experience and a dopey mechanic that would rather make more money fixing imports BECAUSE THATS WHAT HE DOES! Ever actually done any research before?

AND IF YOU THINK THE FORD ENGINE FIRE RECALL IS SUCH A BIG DEAL (6 FIRES, NO INJURIES OUT OF 15MIL VEHICLES) THEN YOU SHOULD BE SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER AT TOYOTA KNOWINGLY ALLOWING IT’S CUSTOMERS TO DRIVE AROUND SAFETY DEFECT VEHICLES FOR YEARS ON END! Haven’t you done ANY research – or you prefer to talk from your ass? Former Toyota attorney is ratting on toyota as is former toyota engineers that claim Toyota’s bean counting compromises safety in their vehicles. W. have u been under a rock

…and my brother is driving my dad’s 88 tbird turbo coupe…ever handed your 20 yr old toyota down to your kid? Not likely as cancer would have consumed it by now! While Toyota supra owners are in disbelief of the fact that the t bird’s turbo is all original while they avg. a huge car payment monthly to fix their 89 supra turbo constantly- true story. LOL! Tons of friends and family with huge miles an no major repairs on their Fords! You were saying?
