Please keep comments to the content of the video, I don’t want to hear your opinions on whether you think hybrids are great or a complete waste of time, I’m not trying to start a debate, this if for information purposes only, negative comments WILL be deleted. Sorry, I am mistaken, this car is a 2008 NOT a 2009, but I decided to do an in depth tour on a prius since I have never done one before. THis is also my first time driving one so I show what it’s like to drive one of these hybrids.

Cool technology, it’s efficient and reliable, I’ll give that to Toyota. It’s the drivers of some of these cars that I can’t stand; if you don’t drive one, you’re murdering the planet in their mind. SOME, not all. I’ve driven one of the older generations, they’re sloooow, but quiet. Maybe the new generation is better?
Meh, not for me, but to each their own. Beauty in freedom of choice!

I love the description, “this if for information purposes…”
Honestly, I hate this car, but that’s just my opinion.

@guitargod11111111 If your going by Jeremy Clarckson’s test, then you are going by a not very accurate test.

I’ve had a 2nd generation prius about a year now, had a battery issue early on but all now ok, I get 59MPG without trying very hard, in fact Ive turned the dispaly off and its improved when I did this… go figure lol, very smooth comfortable drive, not good in deep snow, but apart from that, all ok

49,2 miles per gallon is still not good enough , you mean 1,9 TDI V W Bora is far better on fuel economy

@MrJoe2412 There are shops that add sunroofs, but the Prius roof isn’t flat so I’m not sure if they’d be able to…

I know on paper this car looks good but a Chevrolet Metro sedan or hatch gets better fuel economy and has less to go wrong with it!

@Timothy9903 It has a setting that you turn on that it only runs on electric. I think it will only go 30 or 40 in this mode for about I think 5 miles.

Why do all hybrids have to be so damn ugly? The only hybrid that I know of that looks pretty good is the Lexua GS450h
